xMutual is a mutual fund application that allows you to invest in our managed US stock mutual funds without being a US citizen.
Once you download the app, pass the KYC compliance, and create an account, you’ll be able to connect your payment method and invest in one of our mutual funds.
Historically, the US stock market averages about a 7-10% gain per year. There are years where you will earn more or less than this. The longer you stay in the market, the more you typically will earn, as the market has trended upward over for the breadth of its existence. Keeping your money invested for longer periods of time typically reduces risk, increases the likelihood of positive earnings, and allows you to benefit from compounding.
Finally, you may also gain wealth or protect your wealth due to avoiding the currency depreciation of your local currency.
Keep in mind though, that investing can never be guaranteed by anyone at anytime, and you should be aware that there are always risks involved with investing in anything.
You can gain money very quickly, in a month or less, however that should not be your expectation. Investing should be seen as long term wealth growth and not a short term gain. Best results will typically be realized with longer term investments.
Our goal is to be available accross Africa in as many countries as possible. Initially, we plan to launch in Kenya, Ghana, and Tanzania. So, please sign up for early access and spread the word wherever you are. If enough people from your country sign up, then we will prioritize launching in your country.
Investing long term in highly profitable and well established companies is generally a low risk investment. There will also be funds for those who want faster earnings and can tolerate more risk.
Yes. We are both ethical and halal (shariah compliant by AAOFI standards). This means we completely avoid industries such as military-industrial, gambling, alcohol, adult entertainment, banking, etc.
Minimum investment amounts will vary by country. We aim to have the smallest possible minimums to enhance inclusivity, ideally below a 50 USD equivalent in your local currency.
